Italiana!, the title of the first album released on the prestigious Viennese label Supreme Classics, takes listeners on a journey through time through Italian musical tradition. Spanning the Baroque and Romantic periods to the 20th century, the repertoire includes works by Albinoni/Giazotto (Adagio in G minor), Rossini (Overture to William Tell ), Verdi ( Nabucco Overture), Puccini (Intermezzo from Manon Lescaut ), Martucci (Notturno, a favorite of Maestro Muti), and Respighi (»Via Appia« from Pini di Roma ).
